City Invites Residents to Visit the 2025 Northern Virginia Expo
The Office of Housing invites residents to visit the 2025 Northern Virginia Housing Expo, a regional housing fair, at Meridian High School (121 Mustang Alley, Falls Church, VA) on April 12, 2025, from 10 am to 3 pm.
This free public event showcases both first-time homeownership and rental opportunities and resources throughout Northern Virginia. Renters and first-time buyers looking to live in Northern Virginia can take advantage of a variety of resources, like speaking with experts in the exhibit hall, attending a variety of informational workshops, and taking advantage of individual financial coaching from certified volunteer coaches, all free of charge.
The expo will feature workshops and exhibits designed to educate attendees about getting and staying creditworthy, first-time buyer programs, rental assistance programs, senior housing options, tax implications of owning a home, working with a Realtor, and more. Upon arrival, visitors will be able to sign up for a financial coaching session with a trained volunteer from Britepaths, a Fairfax County nonprofit.
The Northern Virginia Housing Expo also features vast online resources. Visitors to www.NoVaHousingExpo.org can view a variety of helpful webinars and sign up for virtual financial coaching anytime throughout the year.
More information about the Expo is available at NoVaHousingExpo.org; you can also follow the Northern Virginia Housing Expo on Facebook, Twitter and LinkedIn for event updates.
