What is a Preservation Easement?
The easements listed below are granted to the Alexandria Historical Restoration and Preservation Commission and are administered by it through the city’s Office of Historic Alexandria.
The Department of Planning and Zoning maintains a list of all Alexandria properties with easements. Additional easements are held by Virginia Historical Landmarks, VDHR, City of Alexandria, The L'Enfant Trust, and other entities.
