Beverley Park was once used as a staging area and gravel pit when the homes in the Beverly Hills neighborhood were being built. After the new home construction was completed, the site was cleaned up and a playground was installed. The park was officially opened on June 13, 1943. Beverley Park has been adopted by the North Ridge Citizens Association.
