Background: The City and its regional partners, VPRA, and VRE are advancing a variety of strategic infrastructure investments to improve sustainability and regional reliability for critical rail and stormwater infrastructure, and to improve safety in proximity to the King Street and Commonwealth Avenue intersection. To facilitate information sharing, the City and its partners have developed a shared project website, alexandriava.gov/go/4904, to host links to individual projects. The website hosts updates and information on public engagement and outreach events.
