The Code Administration Monthly Activity Report details Code activity for the month including permitting and plan review fees, the number of plan reviews, the number of permits issued by type, and the number of property maintenance inspections, among other information. Prior year information is included for comparative purposes.
In accordance with the Code of Virginia Chapter 37- Virginia Freedom of Information Act, affairs of government are not intended to be conducted in an atmosphere of secrecy since at all times the public is to be the beneficiary of any action taken at any level of government. Thus, all public records are available for inspection and copying upon request. Also, in accordance with section 108 of the Virginia Uniform Statewide Building Code, the full name and address of the owner shall be provided in the permit application and the permit posted for public inspection.
