Accessibility

The front door is accessed via two stone stairs without a railing. For on-level access, guests can go through the gate on the left of the building and follow a short brick path to the rear entrance, which is open during museum hours.

Visiting rooms beyond the ground floor in Gadsby’s Tavern Museum involves ascending/descending multiple staircases. While the Museum does not have an elevator, staff can offer a photographic tour of the building for those who cannot climb stairs.

All room panels are available online for increased accessibility, whether for viewing upstairs panels, translation, or text-to-speech screen readers.
