Alexandria Transit Company (DASH)
Monday, November 11: DASH bus service will operate on a regular service schedule.
The free King Street Trolley operates from King Street Metro to City Hall/Market Square (301 King St.) with service every 15 minutes, from 11 a.m. to 11 p.m., every day.
Animal Welfare League of Alexandria (AWLA)
Monday, November 11: Open 11 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Courts
Tuesday, November 5: The General District Court, Circuit Court, and Clerk of Circuit Court will be closed.
Monday, November 11: The General District Court, Juvenile and Domestic Relations District Court, Court Service Unit, Circuit Court, and the Clerk of Circuit Court will be closed.
Department of Motor Vehicles (DMV)
Monday, November 11: Closed. Customers should check the hours of their local DMV Select location, as it may operate outside of the state holiday closing schedule.

Health Facilities
Tuesday, November 5 and Monday, November 11: Alexandria Health Department, Flora Krause Casey Health Center, and the Teen Wellness Center at Alexandria City High School’s King Street Campus and Minnie Howard Campus will be closed.
Historic Alexandria
Monday, November 11: All museums will operate according to their standard schedules.
Note that due to construction, Freedom House is open on weekends only through early January. Group visits available by special appointment.
Impound Lot
Monday, November 11: Closed.
The City’s impound lot is closed on all weekends and observed City holidays. Fees will continue to accrue on Saturday and Sunday, but not on holidays.
Libraries
Tuesday, November 5: The Alexandria Law Library will be closed.
Monday, November 11: All Alexandria Library branches will be closed.
Parking
Monday, November 11: The Alexandria Police Department will suspend enforcement of parking restrictions at metered spaces and residential permit parking districts. This suspension of enforcement applies only to the restrictions at legal parking spaces and does not permit parking in any normally prohibited location. Temporary no-parking signs will be enforced.
Recreation, Nature and Arts Centers
Monday, November 11: Charles Houston, Chinquapin Park, and Patrick Henry Recreation Centers will be open from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. All other City of Alexandria recreation and nature centers will be closed.
Resource Recovery
Monday, November 11: The Household Hazardous Waste Electronic Collection Drop-Off Center will be closed.
Residential refuse and recycling collection will be delayed by one day during the week of Monday, November 11. Curbside food waste collection will follow the normal collection service schedule.
Torpedo Factory Art Center
Monday, November 11: Open 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. according to its standard operating schedule.
