ICPRB Public Hearings
The Independent Community Policing Review Board (ICPRB) may conduct public hearings as part of its civilian oversight responsibilities under City ordinance. Public hearings provide the Board with an opportunity to receive presentations, hear public comment, review information related to matters under consideration, and engage in public discussion prior to making recommendations or taking action within its authority.
Public hearings are open to the public and are intended to promote transparency in the Board's review process. Members of the public may attend hearings to observe proceedings and, when permitted, provide public comment for the Board's consideration.
Public comment is an opportunity for individuals to share information, perspectives, or concerns relevant to the matter being considered by the Board. Public hearings are not intended to serve as a question-and-answer session, and Board members may not respond directly to public comments during the hearing.
Information regarding upcoming public hearings, including dates, times, locations, agendas, supporting materials, registration requirements, and participation instructions, will be posted on this page as it becomes available. Hearing-specific rules and procedures, including time limits for speakers and standards of conduct, may apply.
Individuals who are unable to attend a public hearing may have the option to submit written comments in accordance with the instructions provided for the specific hearing.
