In concert with The City’s guiding principles and strategic plan to provide citizens with more efficient and customer friendly services, The City now offers a new program dedicated towards assisting first time contractors, homeowners and small business owners throughout the entire permitting and inspection processes.

Monday - Friday from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm (2:00 pm the first Monday of every month)

Please arrive by 4:30 pm for Residential project consultations; consultations are approximately 30 minutes to an hour. The permit process for projects that qualify for walk-through typically takes between two and four hours; routing of walk-through plans ends at 4:15 pm.  

For businesses we recommend that you schedule an appointment for a consultation so we can provide a courtesy analysis.

Consultations are also available over the phone and via email.
