Retail Wayfinding Sign for King Street Corners

The City installed new permanent sign structures at corners along King Street to direct pedestrians to businesses on the side streets in the Central Business District. The signs have updatable, interchangeable sign panels for each business.

How to Participate

  1. King Street Retail Signage
    Review the regulations for the program.
  2. Complete the retail wayfinding sign application using the APEX permitting system. Once the application is completed and the fees are paid, City staff will contact you to coordinate a time to pick up the blank sign panels from City Hall.
  3. Customize the sign plates with design and text. 
    • Design specifications for individual business sign panels.
  4. Return the completed sign panels to City Hall. City Staff will install the panels at the appropriate site. Position on the sign structure (from top to bottom) will be determined on a first-come first-served basis.
