Alexandria, VA. - Last night, at approximately 7:51 p.m., Alexandria Police Officers responded to the 800 block of Manor Road for the report of shots fired and a man down. Later, an adult male was dropped off at the hospital and was declared deceased.

The man has been identified as Carl Harris, 23, of Alexandria, VA.

The Office of the Medical Examiner will determine the cause and manner of death.

Detectives are actively investigating the circumstances surrounding this incident and canvassing the area.
