ALEXANDRIA, VA. – At approximately 10:26 a.m. on Saturday, March 18, 2023, the Alexandria Police Department responded to a call for shots fired in the 400 block of North Armistead Street. 

Upon arrival, APD officers discovered a 32-year-old male victim, with an apparent gunshot wound to the upper body.  APD officers rendered aid until medics were on scene.  The victim was then transported to a hospital with serious injuries.
