Alexandria Fire Department Recognizes Breast Cancer Awareness Month

October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month, and the Alexandria Fire Department will be recognizing and raising money for the cause by selling T-shirts. Long and short sleeve shirts are available for purchase. Shirts must be purchased online in advance, and they will be shipped directly to customers. Orders can be made through October 10. Order before September 16 to receive your shirt by the first week of October.
The proceeds from this year’s sale will support the Vola Lawson Memorial Fund, which provides financial support to Alexandria residents for preventive services, screening, and treatment. For more information, please visit https://www.volalawsonfund.org/.
