The Faces of the Alexandria Fire Department: Stories of Courage, Dedication, and Service
Meet the first responders of the City of Alexandria Fire Department (AFD). They are fathers, mothers, sons, daughters, friends, and neighbors. They are also firefighters and paramedics, and they put their lives on the line every day responding to fires, accidents, and other emergencies.
In this new human interest video series, you will get to know AFD from the inside out, from the individual perspectives of some of our first responders. You will meet the firefighters and paramedics who make up the department and explore their stories, their challenges, and their triumphs.
You will see them in action, responding to emergencies, but you will also see them behind the scenes, training for their next call and spending time with their families.
This series is an opportunity to learn more about AFD and the people who provide emergency services to the City of Alexandria and surrounding communities. It is also an opportunity to show our appreciation for their service and dedication.
Below are just a few of the many dedicated first responders who serve the City of Alexandria. We hope that you will join us in getting to know them and in showing our appreciation for their service. Thank you for watching.
