The COVID-19 Public Health Emergency expired on May 11, 2023. Because of this, the systems we use to track COVID-19 data, including COVID-19 community levels and transmission levels, changed. The requirement for hospitals to report COVID-19-related hospitalizations ended in Spring 2024.
