This project is about better organizing how curb space is used and introducing smarter parking tools to make things easier for everyone. By clearly mapping where parking and curb rules apply and using real-time information, the City will improve how parking is managed, make it easier for residents and businesses to find and use spaces, and set the stage for more efficient transportation in the future.

The project team is coordinating across departments to finalize technical specifications and prepare for curb data collection efforts.
Once deployed, this initiative will enable the City to better manage parking assets in real time, improve accessibility for residents and businesses, and provide a digital foundation for future smart mobility applications.
Project Scope
The project will map, document, and digitize curb regulations, restrictions, and zones using the Curb Data Specification (CDS) standard, a nationally recognized framework that enables cities to manage and share curb information in a consistent digital format. This work will create a detailed inventory of the City’s curb assets, regulations, and usage patterns to support real-time parking management and integration with third-party applications such as rideshare, delivery, and navigation services.
