A recording of the webinar is available: Taylor Run Infrastructure Stabilization Community Meeting - Zoom. The 30% design plans, the Tree Inventory Memo, 30% design meeting handout, and other materials developed for this stage of design can be found on the Taylor Run Infrastructure Stabilization project webpage at alexandriava.gov/go/7569, along with additional project information.
The Taylor Run Infrastructure Stabilization Project focuses on protecting critical, at-risk stormwater and sanitary sewer infrastructure, through a targeted, minimal intervention approach. In 2022 and 2023, City staff worked with community members through the Stream Health Improvement Community Collaboration, to develop recommendations for stabilizing the critical infrastructure along Taylor Run. The final recommendations that reached consensus were approved by City Council in 2023 and serve as the foundation for the design moving forward.
