On Wednesday, December 11, the City of Alexandria will slide trash collection by one day to Thursday, December 12 due to operational changes. Recycling, yard waste, and curbside composting will not be impacted nor Monday and Tuesday collections.

• Items normally collected on Wednesday will be collected on Thursday, December 12. 
• Items normally collected on Thursday will be collected on Friday, December 13. 

If trash has not been collected by the end of the following day, residents can submit a missed collection ticket online or call Alex 311.
