Pedestrian Bridge in Ben Brenman Park Closed for Repairs

The pedestrian bridge over Backlick Run is closed for repairs through March 2024.

During the most recent bridge inspections in November 2023, it was observed that some under-bridge components on the pedestrian bridge over Backlick Run needed immediate maintenance.  The repairs also include deck replacement.

Construction will begin Monday, February 26th and is expected to take a month to complete. During the bridge closure, visitors can still access the park area from the bridge located at the end of Somerville Street.
