Jamieson Avenue will be closed to all through pedestrian, bicycle, and vehicular traffic beginning the week of October 16 to accommodate construction activities being done as part of the RiverRenew project.

RiverRenew crews are working to complete the Hooffs Run Interceptor construction, a project designed to prevent combined sewage from polluting and harming local waterways. Jameison Avenue will be closed to through traffic between Holland Lane and S West Street to allow crews to upgrade the existing sewer interceptor, located between Duke Street and AlexRenew’s wastewater treatment plant.

Local traffic will still be able to access businesses along Jamieson Avenue. Detour signs will be in place to re-route vehicular, pedestrian, and bicycle traffic. Closures will be in effect through January 2024.
