Looking to stay active, meet new people, and explore new interests? Join us for a special orientation designed just for adults aged 55 and up!
Event details:
- What: Senior Recreation Orientation
- When: Wednesday, August 6, 10 a.m.-12 p.m.
- Where: Patrick Henry Recreation Center (4653 Taney Ave.)
- Who: City residents ages 55+ and caregivers
- Why: To build community and explore programs that support healthy aging and social connection!
What to expect:
- Overview of fitness classes, hobby groups, social events, and other offered programs
- Opportunities to meet staff and instructors
- Help with program registration, financial aid, and other resources
- Light refreshments and snacks, and the chance to mingle with other seniors in the community
