The Park and Recreation Commission will hold a public hearing on Thursday, July 17, 7 p.m. at the Charles Houston Recreation Center, 901 Wythe St. to discuss the Neighborhood Park Plan amendment for Schuyler Hamilton-Jones Skateboard Park, located at 3540 Wheeler Ave., Alexandria, VA 22304. If you are unable to attend the public hearing, comments will be accepted by mail or email until 5 p.m. on Wednesday, July 16. Submit comments via email to jose.ayala@alexandriava.gov or via regular mail to:

The Park and Recreation Commission will receive public comment on and take action on the proposed design recommendations and amendment to the 2015 Neighborhood Park Improvement Plan, Luckett Ball & Schuyler Hamilton Jones Skateboard Park recommendation number 5. Following the public hearing, the Park and Recreation Commission will hold its regular monthly meeting.
