The Park and Recreation Commission will hold a public hearing on Thursday, July 17, 7 p.m. at the Charles Houston Recreation Center, 901 Wythe St. to discuss the Neighborhood Park Plan amendment for Schuyler Hamilton-Jones Skateboard Park, located at 3540 Wheeler Ave., Alexandria, VA 22304. The Park and Recreation Commission will receive public comment on and take action on the proposed design recommendations and amendment to the 2015 Neighborhood Park Improvement Plan, Luckett Ball & Schuyler Hamilton Jones Skateboard Park recommendation number 5. Following the public hearing, the Park and Recreation Commission will hold its regular monthly meeting.
