The City of Alexandria’s Fiscal Year 2026 Annual Arts Program Grant is now accepting applications. This grant supports arts programs occurring between July 1, 2025, and June 30, 2026. Applications are due by Friday, March 28, 2025, at 5 p.m.
For more than 30 years, the City of Alexandria has provided arts grants to local arts organizations, artists, and service providers, ensuring residents have access to quality arts experiences.
The Office of the Arts administers the program with the help of a Grant Task Force, composed of Arts Commissioners, arts administrators, and grant professionals, who review and score applications. The amount of funding available depends on the annual budget, so applicants are encouraged to carefully review the grant application and guidelines.
To assist interested applicants, the Office of the Arts will host free grant workshops and webinars to guide participants in preparing their applications.
Attendance is mandatory for first-time applicants and those who have not used the Foundant online grant program. Returning applicants are also strongly encouraged to attend due to updates in the grant process.
Grant Webinars Schedule:

- Tuesday, February 11, 5 p.m.
- Thursday, February 13, 2 p.m.
