Registration for winter classes and activities offered by the City of Alexandria’s Department of Recreation, Parks & Cultural Activities (RPCA) will begin at 9 a.m. on Wednesday, December 18, for City residents and Friday, December 20, for nonresidents. Winter registration applies to classes, leagues, and activities occurring January through April 2024. Registration will be available online and in-person at the Lee Center Registration & Reservation Office (1108 Jefferson St.).

The Winter Program Guide is now available for viewing online! Browse programs and plan ahead for the upcoming season. Physical copies will be mailed and available at all recreation centers starting the week of December 30.

In addition to a variety of new programs and returning favorites, there are many ways to have fun this winter. Plan ahead by registering for one of our many Teacher Work Day camps or Spring Break camps. Or tackle those New Year's Resolutions with one of our fitness, sports, or skill-based classes.

The Department of Recreation, Parks & Cultural Activities (RPCA) offers financial assistance to help families and individuals enjoy our programs and services. Our goal is to connect and engage with the entire City of Alexandria, providing offerings tailored to meet the needs of our diverse community.

To learn more about our financial assistance program, please visit: RPCA Financial Assistance.
