City of Alexandria's RecFest Is Back With Free Fun for All Ages
Due to forecasted rain tomorrow, The City of Alexandria's RecFest will be moved indoors at Samuel W. Tucker Elementary School (435 Ferdinand Day Dr.) The event will still take place on Saturday, May 4, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. All ages are invited to attend this free event full of fun activities representing the City’s fitness, sports, enrichment, arts, nature, out-of-school time, and summer camp programs. Enjoy demos, meet instructors, and connect with other City partners and staff.
With the indoor location, the Fun Walk from 9-10 a.m. is now cancelled. There's still plenty of fun including yoga, line dancing, music, arts and crafts, LEGO® table, face painting, and more! Visit alexandriava.gov/rpca/recfest-2024 for a complete list and the latest information on RecFest.
