Planning & Zoning Virtual Community Update 
For immediate release: August 19, 2025 

The Department of Planning & Zoning will hold its next virtual community update on Tuesday, September 2 at 6 p.m. September’s meeting will include updates on the Duke Street Land Use planning process, small area plan implementation, the redevelopment of the Potomac River Generating Station site, upcoming zoning amendments and more. The virtual meeting can be accessed through the following:   

These updates offer community members an opportunity to stay informed about larger development projects under consideration, changes to regulations that affect new development, and upcoming planning initiatives. Learn where to find more information and how to participate in the process.
