Alexandria West Planning Reminder: Public comment on the Draft Plan open through August 1!

The Draft AlexWest Plan was shared at the June 25 Community Meeting and posted online for community review. Please provide your comments now through August 1!

Listed below are different ways you can share your feedback on the Draft Plan:

  1. Through the project page: alexandriava.gov/AlexandriaWest and select one of the following comment forms: English, Spanish, Amharic, Arabic, Dari, and Pashto (Through August 1)
  2. Via email or phone to Christian Brandt, Urban Planner, christian.brandt@alexandriava.gov, 703.746.3895 (anytime before the public hearings in September)
  3. At the Planning Commission and City Council public hearings September 5 and 14
     

All AlexWest Plan information will continue to be communicated through eNews and WhatsApp, and shared with community groups, as well as posted on the project webpage, where you can also find all Plan background information, materials, and a project schedule. 

Office Hours: Staff are still hosting Zoom Office Hours to answer questions or provide clarification. Each session will be open for two hours and will be first-come-first-serve and one-at-a-time. Times and Zoom registration links are listed below. After registering, you will receive a confirmation email with the access link and passcode.

Wednesday, July 17, 5 – 7 p.m.

Thursday, July 25, 3 – 5 p.m.

Monday, July 29, 9:30-11:30 a.m
