Alexandria West Planning Project Update

 

Many thanks to everyone who has participated in the Alexandria West planning process so far! Please check out the following planning updates:

Project Updates:

  • April 25 community meeting materials are now posted on the project webpage.
  • Staff is available to attend your next community meeting to provide a Plan update and Q&A session. Please contact Christian Brandt, Urban Planner, Department of Planning and Zoning at 703.746.3859 or Christian.Brandt@alexandriava.gov.
  • Revised Draft Plan Recommendations and Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ) are now posted on the project webpage. The revised plan recommendations show changes and edits to the March 4 Draft Plan Recommendations.
  • June Draft Plan Release: The Draft Plan will be released in June followed by a public comment period. There will also be a community meeting in June. More information on dates and timing will be shared through eNews, WhatsApp, and with community groups.
