Alexandria West Plan Upcoming Events

Reminder! Please join us at one of two remaining Open Houses as part of the Alexandria West Planning process. The Open Houses will include interactive stations and the opportunity to learn about and leave feedback on proposed strategies for Land Use, Open Space, Mobility, and Sustainability. The open house materials and opportunity to comment will be posted on the project webpage. There will be food and prizes! 

  • 2nd Open House: Saturday, Nov. 4, 1–4 p.m. William Ramsay Rec. Center, 5650 Sanger Avenue 
  • 3rd Open House: Wednesday, Nov. 8, 7–9 p.m. Del Pepper Community Resource Center, 4850 Mark Center Drive 

Coming up! Join us for the next Alexandria West Plan Community Meeting on Monday, November 13 at Ferdinand T. Day Elementary School, 1701 N Beauregard Street. The event will begin with an informational Open House from 6–7 p.m., followed by the Community Meeting from 7–9 p.m. Food, childcare, and language interpretation in Spanish and Amharic will be available. 

The November 13 meeting topics will include Housing and Transportation, both of which will be covered at the Open House and the Meeting. During the in-person Open House, community members will have the opportunity to review new information, ask questions, and provide feedback to staff. During the meeting Staff will provide presentations followed by further opportunities to ask questions.
