Specialty Tour: Poisons at the Apothecary Museum
Tickets are now available for the Poisons at the Apothecary Museum specialty tour, offered on Sundays, June 21, July 5, and July 12, from 5:30 to 6:30 p.m. at the Stabler-Leadbeater Apothecary Museum.
Tickets can be purchased at alexandriava.gov/Shop. Admission is $15 per person and $12 for Office of Historic Alexandria (OHA) Members. Advance purchase is recommended. Proceeds support Historic Alexandria’s museums.
This one-hour guided tour explores several different types of poisons, their historic uses at the Apothecary, and what we know today. Recommended for adults, the program offers a fascinating look at the history of medicine and pharmacy. Guests should arrive a few minutes early for check-in.
