Applications for the Eco-City Academy open on September 30th, 2024! This unique program gives residents the opportunity to learn about Alexandria’s environmental sustainability efforts and become leaders in promoting a greener future for the community.
What is the Eco-City Academy? A six-week program where participants learn about the City’s environmental policies and how to lead sustainability efforts in their neighborhoods.
Why Join? The opportunity to learn from experts, build connections, and make a difference in shaping Alexandria’s future.
Who Can Apply? Alexandria residents aged 17+ who are passionate about sustainability.
How to Apply? Apply online by November 8th. Spaces are limited, so apply soon!
Key Dates: Applications are due by November 8th, 2024. The program begins on Thursday, January 9th, 2025, and runs for 6 weeks, with classes held every Thursday from 6:30 pm to 8:30 pm, concluding on February 13th, 2025.
Additional Information: Dinner will be provided, and the sessions will be conducted in-person in English.
