traffic impacts to the 3900 Block of W. Braddock Rd due to event

The City of Alexandria is alerting residents of potential impacts to their daily commute on Wednesday, June 10.

There will be a heavy police presence, including officers from the Alexandria, Arlington, and Fairfax County Police Departments, and heavier traffic than usual on Wednesday, June 10, in the 3900 Block of W Braddock Rd., from approximately 3:30 to 8:30 p.m., due to a ticketed event at Episcopal High School.

If you travel through or live in the area, please plan accordingly and give yourself extra time for travel. We appreciate your patience and cooperation with traffic enforcement.

Alexandria Police officers always have physical identification on them, wear official department uniforms, and wear badges when working official events or responding to a call.

Residents can ask APD officers for their names and badge numbers at any time, and they are required to provide it.
