Upcoming Closures and Temporary Lane Changes on North Royal Street Between Cameron Street and King Street in Alexandria
The City of Alexandria will be conducting investigation and testing work on the streets surrounding City Hall from November 10 through 20.
Street Closure: November 10, 11, 12, and 13
North Royal Street will be closed to all traffic between Cameron Street and King Street starting at 7 a.m. on Monday, November 10, through 7 a.m. on Thursday, November 13. Drivers will be detoured to North Pitt Street and North Fairfax Street. Detour signs will be posted.
Lane Changes and No Parking: November 13 through 20
Traffic lanes on North Royal Street between Cameron Street and King Street will be shifted from 7 a.m. on Thursday, November 13, through Thursday, November 20. Drivers should look for signs and be prepared for delays. There will be no parking allowed on North Royal Street between Cameron and King Streets from November 13 through 20.
