Hundreds of Alexandrians gathered in the auditorium at Alexandria City High School to cheer on alum Noah Lyles as he competed in the 200m Final at the 2024 Paris Olympics. The City of Alexandria, partnering with Alexandria City Public Schools, and joined by the Lyles Brothers Sports Foundation, welcomed the community for a full-scale celebration for Lyles including American flags, red, white & blue pom poms, and giveaways for those in attendance. Congratulations to Noah Lyles for taking home the bronze for Team USA and for Alexandria! And thank you to our Alexandria community members and Alexandria City Council Members for joining us in cheering on our hometown Olympian.
