Alexandria City Council Recognizes Arab American Heritage Month in City of Alexandria
Alexandria City Council reaffirmed April as Arab American Heritage Month in Alexandria with a proclamation at a Legislative Meeting on Wednesday, April 24.
In the proclamation, Mayor Justin Wilson called the observance of this month to the attention of all Alexandrians and recognized the contributions that Arab Americans have made to our community.
The City of Alexandria pays tribute to our Arab American community members and reaffirms its commitment to fostering an environment of respect, understanding, and appreciation for all cultures and backgrounds.
