Alexandria Continues Celebration of Women’s History Month
On Tuesday, March 12, Mayor Justin Wilson and Members of City Council officially declared March 2024 as Women’s History Month. At the Legislative Meeting, a proclamation highlighted our commitment to enhancing the leadership and participation of women across economic, social, and political spheres within our community. All residents were encouraged to observe this month in appreciation of the women who have contributed significantly to the City and the community.
