On Sunday, November 17 at 10:57 p.m. the Alexandria Fire Department responded to a commercial building fire at 103 South Saint Asaph St. 

Units arrived with smoke coming from a fire inside the structure. 

The fire was extinguished with no injuries.

A total of 53 firefighters, including investigators, responded to the incident.

Three businesses are co-located inside the building: Friends to Lovers Bookstore, Little Birdies Boutique, and Madame Coco. 

All three business were impacted by smoke and water damage from extinguishment efforts.

The cause is under investigation by the Fire Marshal's Office.
