Meet Our Leaders
Daniel Medina
Program Manager,
Flood Action Alexandria
Daniel Medina has more than 30 years of experience as a senior water resources engineer specializing in water resource systems planning, green infrastructure and climate change and resilience.
He manages the Flood Action Alexandria program, which encompasses professionals from the Department of Project Implementation and the Department of Transportation and Environmental Services.
He manages capital infrastructure projects aimed to build the City's resilience to flooding caused by intense storms.
Jesse Maines
Chief,
Stormwater Management Division
Jesse E. Maines has more than 20 years of experience on stormwater program elements in the public and private sectors.
He leads a staff of professionals to ensure stormwater regulatory compliance, managing the Stormwater Utility and implementing water quality and flooding capital improvement projects.
He serves as the secretary of Virginia Municipal Stormwater Association and with the Chesapeake Bay Program's Urban Stormwater Work Group.
Erin Bevis-Carver
Chief,
Sanitary Infrastructure Division
Erin Bevis-Carver has more than 20 years of experience in civil engineering related to sanitary sewer systems.
During her time with the City, she has managed and overseen sewer-related projects, including the Long Term Control Plan for the combined sewer system and the Sanitary Sewer Master Plan.
Ms. Bevis-Carver leads a team of civil engineers who provide planning-level engineering for more than 240 miles of sanitary and combined sewers in the City.
