DCHS Celebrates 40 Under 40 Recipients
A DCHS CONNECT NEWS HIGHLIGHT
May 7, 2021--The Department of Community and Human Services congratulates this year’s recipients of the Chamber ALX 40 Under 40 Honorees for their impact on the City of Alexandria.
The program, established in 2016 by the Alexandria Chamber of Commerce, recognizes those age 40 and under who are shaping Alexandria for the future. Honorees work in a variety of professions and fields, including business, technology, nonprofit management, civic life, public service, education and the arts. The honorees will be celebrated at an event hosted by the Chamber on July 15.
Among the recipients were several individuals who closely collaborate with DCHS, including:

Jacqueline Tucker, Race and Social Equity Officer for the City of Alexandria

Faith Spillman, Youth Services Coordinator with the Alexandria Police Department and Youth Mental Health First Aid trainer

Amanda Parker Hazelwood, Chair-Elect of the Children, Youth and Families Collaborative Commission

Lizzie Liu, Member of the Youth Services Coordinating Council
