Project Description
The City of Alexandria is rehabilitating a segment of the 72 by 44-inch Oronoco Street storm sewer on Oronoco Street near the Union Street intersection in Old Town. Cured-in-Place-Pipe (CIPP) lining will be installed within the existing sewer pipe, resulting in a stormwater conduit with a minimum 20-year life span that is resistant to infiltration by non-aqueous phase liquids (NAPL) to the greatest extent feasible. This project is part of the Consent Decree entered with Potomac Riverkeeper.
