The City of Alexandria is repairing damage to an existing 12-inch sanitary sewer main along 1200 block of North Beauregard Street between N. Morgan St. and Sanger Ave. Past CCTV inspection of the sanitary sewer recorded structural damage and conveyance restriction in the 12-inch pipe. The issue was confirmed to be caused by a storm inlet along the sewer main.

Construction Impacts
- Traffic access will be maintained on N. Beauregard St. throughout construction, but travelers may experience some delays due to temporary lane closures on the eastbound of N. Beauregard St. between N. Morgan St. and Sanger Ave.
- Access to the bus stop will be maintained from the southeast corner of N. Beauregard St. and Sanger Ave.
- The sidewalk on the eastbound of N. Beauregard St. between N. Morgan St. and Sanger Ave will be closed during construction. Pedestrians should use the sidewalk on the westbound side of N. Beauregard St.
- Variable message boards will be used to visually broadcast construction work dates and times. Construction signage will be posted to direct traffic.
