Project Description

The City of Alexandria is renovating the lower level of the Ellen Coolidge Burke Library.  The lower level was previously occupied by Alexandria City Public Schools and needs to be updated to meet the library’s operational needs.

Proposed improvements include the creation of space to house ESL classes, conference rooms, and study areas for tutoring.

Planning Update

The project is currently planning phase. Staff is working on blocking out the spaces targeted for renovation with the Library.
