Project Description

The East Glebe Road and Route 1 intersection improvement project consist of constructing an exclusive left-turn lane, through lane, and right-turn lane in the eastbound direction, and enhancements to assist safe vulnerable user crossing.

Planning Update

Project details and updates will be provided as the Planning phase progresses. Work on the Planning phase is anticipated to begin in July 2024. Staff will coordinate with VDOT to obtain all necessary approvals to advance the project.
