Question: When was the last time the Citywide parks improvement plan was updated? Is it currently in the work plan? What are the costs involved in updating the plan? (Vice Mayor Bagley)

Response:

The Citywide Park Improvement Plan was last approved in 2014.

Yes, an update is currently included in RPCA’s work plan and is expected to begin after completion of the Park and Recreation Master Plan, which is also underway as part of the interdepartmental work plan. It is anticipated that the updated Citywide Park Plans will be completed in late calendar year 2027.

At this time, no additional funding is anticipated to update the plan, as the work is expected to be completed using existing staff resources.
