Question: If additional cash capital resources were provided in FY 2025, how much of the FY 2026 Street Reconstruction and Sidewalk Capital Maintenance schedule could be funded and implemented within FY 2025? (Capital Improvement Program Page 10.70 & 10.41)(Mayor Justin Wilson)
Response:
Staff does not believe adding additional funding to FY 2025 would materially advance portions of the FY 2026 workplan, due to the current anticipated level of coordination required between utility projects, development construction, and Complete Streets initiatives. Current funding levels, in addition to prior year available balances, are adequate to fund the work that can be executed. As is current practice, if it becomes at all feasible to advance streets and sections from the FY 2026 workplan, staff will pursue these projects within available resources.
