Art & Innovation Initiative
Intersection of Art and Technology
With the introduction of the Virginia Tech Innovation Campus in Alexandria, Alexandria being home to the United States Patent and Trademark Office, and the growing influence of technology and innovation industry in northern Virginia, to include Amazon’s new headquarters, the region is poised to become an art and technology hub. Alexandria is at the forefront of art, creativity and innovation.
This initiative explores ideas at the intersection of art and technology, helping people think creatively about how art and tech work together, and how art and creativity are a part of everyone’s lives and an infostructure for humanity.
