Planning Phase
Planning Overview
During the planning phase, City staff and engineering consultants conduct a sewer system condition assessment, which requires the inspection of all sanitary sewer mainlines, sewer manholes, and City-owned laterals.
For the North Ridge area, it is expected that 65,600 linear feet of sewers, 323 manholes, and up to 1,400 City-owned laterals will be inspected with CCTV cameras to document the condition of all assets. Following the inspection, major defects in the sewer system will be evaluated and a rehabilitation plan will be developed and scoped for future implementation.
