City of Alexandra Invites Community Feedback on Recommendations for Eisenhower Avenue Transportation Improvements
The City of Alexandria’s Department of Transportation & Environmental Services is seeking community feedback on preliminary recommendations for improving safety, mobility and accessibility on Eisenhower Avenue. In partnership with the Virginia Department of Transportation (VDOT), the project will evaluate transportation needs and opportunities along the Eisenhower corridor.
We encourage respondents to watch this video about the project and the preliminary recommendations. Residents can provide their feedback by completing the online feedback form through May 10.
The City developed the design options based on community input collected in 2023, as well as data analysis and an evaluation of existing conditions on the corridor. After the community comment period closes on May 10, the project team will identify a preferred alternative, which will be considered by the Traffic and Parking Board during a public hearing later this spring.
Additional information is available on the project webpage.
