The City of Alexandria is seeking community input on transportation needs and challenges on South Pickett Street. This is part of the City’s South Pickett Street Corridor Improvements Project to improve mobility, access, and safety for roadway users of all travel modes, ages, abilities on South Pickett Street between Duke Street and Edsall Road.
Complete the online feedback form by December 22.
The City will develop design options to improve conditions on the corridor based on feedback from this initial community comment period, data analysis, and an existing conditions assessment. There will be additional opportunities to provide feedback on the design options, which will inform the final design of the project. The project is anticipated to be implemented in 2025.
This project is part of the City’s Complete Streets Five Year Work Plan.
