Mon-Thu: 3-9 p.m.

Fri: 3-10 p.m.

Sat: 9 a.m.-10 p.m.

Sun: 1-5 p.m.

FACILITY AMENITIES

Dance Room, Boxing Center, Meeting Room, Game/Multi-Purpose Room, Kitchen, Library/Computer Room, Fitness Room, Locker Rooms, Neighborhood Pool, Pre-school Area, Activity Rooms & free WiFi. This site serves as a cooling and warming center during extreme weather events.

FACILITY HISTORY

Charles Houston was a prominent African-American lawyer, Dean of Howard University Law School, and NAACP Litigation Director who played a significant role in dismantling the Jim Crow laws, which earned him the title "The Man Who Killed Jim Crow". He is also well known for having trained future Supreme Court Justice Thurgood Marshall.
